What is GO4LEARN?
GO4LEARN is a school revision service. Quizzes, exercises, mock exams and past papers for Cameroon's examinations, on the official curriculum of the learner's class and stream. Twenty minutes a day is enough. It is not a library of lessons: the lesson happens in class, here you come to practise.
Which curriculum does GO4LEARN follow?
The country's official curriculum, school year by school year: each subject's scheme of work in secondary, the monthly plan in primary, and the programme the organiser publishes for each contest. The chapters you revise are that curriculum's, with their summary and the syllabus textbooks. When a new school year starts, quizzes and resources follow their chapter into the new year's curriculum.
I am not in Cameroon: can I revise another country's curriculum?
You choose your curriculum's country when you sign up, and you can change it at any time in your profile. GO4LEARN then shows that country's official curriculum. If we have no content for it yet, your path stays empty rather than showing you another country's: each country has its own realities.
How is it different from GO4SCHOOL?
GO4SCHOOL runs the school: enrolment, marks, accounting, communication. GO4LEARN helps a learner revise, whether their school uses GO4SCHOOL or not. They are two distinct products sharing the same account and the same mobile app; a switcher takes you from one to the other.
Where do I find GO4LEARN on my phone?
GO4LEARN is inside the GO4SCHOOL app, on the App Store and Google Play. Download GO4SCHOOL, sign in with your account, and open GO4LEARN. There is no other app to install. On a computer, everything happens on this site.
When can I create my account?
GO4LEARN opens soon. Until then, « Sign in » and « Start » lead to a waiting page that shows the planned date and the days left, on this site as in the app. Leave your name, e-mail address and number there with « Let me know », or from « Tell me when it opens » on this site's home page: you will get one single message, on the day the doors open.
Do I need to be in a partner school to sign up?
No. Signing up is open and the school is optional: everything works without one. We only use it to know where to produce the next lessons.
Which countries is GO4LEARN open in?
Only Cameroon today. Other countries have a page saying where we stand.
Which classes and exams are covered?
Primary up to the CEP, secondary with the BEPC, Probatoire, Bac, GCE O Level and A Level, and the competitive entrance exams: ENS, ENAM, IRIC, Polytechnique, FMSB, ISMP. Nursery is not part of the product.
What about anglophone learners?
The francophone, anglophone and bilingual subsystems are all supported, with their own classes and exams. The site and the app exist in French and in English.
What are the different GO4LEARN spaces?
Five spaces, each seeing only what concerns it. The learner revises. The parent follows attendance and pays for the year. The referral partner shares a code and follows their commissions. The creator submits content and answers learners. The console is the GO4LEARN team's internal tool.
Is the product the same for a Year 6 pupil and an ENS candidate?
No, deliberately. In primary the timer is off, results show as stars, and there is neither a named ranking nor a shop. In secondary, marks out of 20, the real marking scheme, and mastery weighted by the stream's coefficients. For entrance exams, the timer is compulsory, the tone is formal throughout, and there are no games: the question is not "do I pass" but "am I among the first".
I am in my final year and also preparing an entrance exam. Do I need a second subscription?
No. Add your entrance exam (ENS, ENAM, Polytechnique…) beside your final exam, from "My exams" on the web or from the app's home. A button then switches you from your pupil space to your contest preparation space and back: the same account, the same subscription. The contest space is the candidates' one: the exam countdown, past papers and mock exams, with no Olympiads, challenges or schoolyard.
Can I try before paying?
There is no free trial period, but two open doors: a trial test once the account exists, when the team offers one for your space; and the National Quiz, open once to non-subscribers.
How much does it cost?
A single price, per year and per child — the equivalent of a weekly data bundle for a whole year. The exact amount is shown when you pay, with the operator fees listed separately, before any commitment. There is only one plan: no tiers, no add-ons.
How do I pay?
By Orange Money, with no bank card and no direct debit. A payment link can also be sent by WhatsApp or SMS to whoever is paying: it opens as is, needs no account, and stays valid for 72 hours.
Is there automatic renewal?
No. Nothing renews by itself and nothing is charged without you. Reminders come at D-30, D-7 and D-1, then a seven-day courtesy grace period.
What happens when the year ends?
Nothing disappears: learning pauses. Progress, merit points, cards and avatar stay available; only new resources close. An early renewal is added on after the current period, with no day lost.
Does it work without internet?
In the app, yes. Chapters and past papers are kept on the phone, and answers given offline are sent when the network is back: nothing to redo, and nothing is deleted until the server has received it. Offline is for the app only: the website needs a connection.
How much data does it use?
The size is shown before anything loads, and nothing downloads unless you ask. There is no heavy video in the product: pages are built to load fast, even on 3G, on a modest phone.
We only have one phone for several children.
Up to six profiles on the same phone. The child picker asks for no password, and each child picks up their session with their 4-digit code. The weekly points cap is five times the daily cap, not seven, so a child who only gets the phone every other day doesn't fall behind.
How do I sign in?
With your email address or phone number, and your password. A child resuming on another device uses "Resume my session" with the code their parent gave them: that code opens only the child's space, never the parent's.
I forgot my password.
Use "Forgot password" on the sign-in screen. A child's mailbox is often an adult's, or doesn't exist: that is why the product offers to set a password as soon as the account is created, and never relies on an emailed link as the only way in.
What is the National Quiz?
A weekly event, every Wednesday at 6 p.m.: ten questions, sixty seconds each, with a national ranking and a catch-up run. A network drop during the round costs nothing. One edition a week per learner: arriving after the live round ends, you play the catch-up. It is open once to non-subscribers.
How do the Olympiads work?
Each subject has its own Olympiad, and they are included in the subscription. You choose the subjects you want to compete in, and you can follow several. The path runs in stages with no elimination at all: a missed stage stops no one. They end with the Grand Final. No prize money, no scholarship: rank is what counts.
What is the difference between Sparks and merit points?
Sparks are spent: they dress the avatar and freeze a streak. They are earned by working and can never be bought with money. Merit points are not spent at all: they stay in the booklet. Nobody can give them to you and nobody can take them away.
What is "The Yard"?
The learners' sharing wall. Only cards made by the app can be posted — a quiz result, a mock exam, progress, a streak, a National Quiz rank. Never free text, never a photo. Two reactions only, "Well done" and "Me too", and no comments.
Can learners chat with each other?
No. There is no free messaging between learners, and it is not a feature on the way: it is a child-protection rule. The only possible interactions are framed — reactions, team encouragements, duels.
What is the Juju AI coach?
An immediate nudge when nobody else is available. Five questions a day and twenty a month are included in the subscription. Juju does not replace the teacher, and does not yet know the learner's level. There is no purchase screen on the child's side: top-ups go through the parent space.
Is there advertising? Is my data sold?
No advertising, no resale. Five separate permissions are asked of an adult, each revocable at any time without losing anything else. In public, a learner never appears as more than "Firstname L.".
Who writes the content?
Teachers from the country, on the official curriculum. Every piece goes through a review queue: nothing is published on GO4LEARN without being reviewed by a qualified person. AI-assisted content is declared as such, and reviewed the same way.
Will my marks go up?
We don't promise that. We don't replace your teacher and we promise no mark. What we guarantee is practice on your class's official curriculum and on your exam's past papers, and a clear measure of where you stand, subject by subject.
Are you going to flood us with notifications?
Two reminders a day at most, never after 8 p.m. The mascot is never a salesperson, and a child never gets a message blaming them for not working.
How do I contact you?
By email, at the address at the bottom of this page. The company's details and the data protection officer's contact are in the legal notice and the privacy policy.
What is the parent space for?
Three things: opening and renewing each child's access, following their attendance, and setting what they may do. It is also where the AI coach is topped up and where permissions are given or withdrawn.
How do I add a child?
From "My learners", with their first name, country of schooling and class. Surname and age are optional and stay private. A household holds up to six learners; to add a seventh, archive one.
My child already has an account. How do I join it?
Ask them for their link code: they generate it from their space, it is six characters long and stays valid for a day. We will never ask you for their password. Before you confirm, a screen tells you what you will see and what you will never see.
What can I see of my child's work?
Their working time, active days, subjects worked on, and the state of their subscription. Never their marks, answers or mistakes. A child who knows their mistakes are reported stops making them, and so stops learning: the detail of results belongs to the learner, and they can show it if they want.
What is the Sunday report?
A weekly summary, one sentence per child: time worked, active days, the subject worked on most. It arrives by notification and by email. It contains no marks, no answers and no mistakes, and it can be switched off in settings.
Why is the report never sent by SMS?
Arithmetic, not channel preference. One SMS costs 18 to 48 FCFA, up to 2,496 FCFA a year for that report alone: it would eat the subscription.
How is working time measured?
On exercises and exams, never on the app being open. Tracking counts distinct active days, not accumulated time, and the per-subject detail opens on request.
I got an inactivity alert. Does my child get one too?
No. No notification is sent to the child: what to do about it is your decision.
How do parental controls work?
You set time windows, a maximum duration per day, and two features: social features — duels, teams, rankings, card swaps, sharing — and the ability to ask a teacher a question. Leaving them blank restricts nothing.
Do the time windows really block my teenager?
In primary, yes: outside the window, the app does not open. In secondary, the windows are advisory — the teenager is informed, not blocked. The two feature switches, however, apply at any age.
What permissions am I asked for?
Five, separate and revocable one by one: creating the account and recording progress, receiving our news, sharing progress with the school, taking part in the Olympiads with a national ranking, and remote invigilation during a prize-awarding exam. Withdrawing one loses nothing of the others.
What does invigilation of a prize-awarding exam involve?
It only runs during an exam that awards prizes, and only if the child takes part. What is measured: time spent per question, leaving the app, copy-pastes, and occasional screen captures. Everything is deleted after 30 days at most, or as soon as results are proclaimed. Refusing removes nothing else: the child keeps all of GO4LEARN, they simply don't compete for prizes.
How do I pay for my child's year?
From their card, "Open access" or "Renew now". Payment is by Orange Money. A PDF receipt is issued. The price is the same for everyone, including for several children.
Can I pay for all my children at once?
Each child has their own payment and their own end date: there is no household-wide date and no basket. The subscriptions screen shows the household total for the year, but it is a reading figure.
If the price goes up, does my current subscription change?
No. The price is frozen until renewal: a change of scale never applies to a subscription in progress.
What are the service fees?
The payment operator's fees — collection, transfer, withdrawal. They are listed line by line before confirmation, separately from the subscription price, and never fold into it.
My payment failed.
Nothing was charged. It happens often, and it is almost never your fault: the simplest thing is to try again in a few minutes. If money did leave your account without access opening, write to us with the transaction reference.
Can someone else pay instead of me?
Yes. A payment link can be sent by WhatsApp or SMS: it opens as is, needs no account, asks for no code, and stays valid for 72 hours. It is also the route for a learner with no means of payment: "give them the phone, they pay and hand it back".
How do I top up the AI coach?
From the child's card, "AI coach". Top-ups come in packs, paid by MTN or Orange Money, and the balance belongs to each child. There is no purchase screen on the child's side: all they can do is ask to tell their parents.
How do I add a second guardian?
With their email address or phone number, provided they already have a GO4LEARN account. That person receives an invitation in their parent space: once they accept, they have the same actions as you — tracking, reports, payments, permissions. Until they accept, they see nothing. A child has at most two guardians.
What does archiving a profile do?
It takes the profile out of the picker and frees one of your six places. Nothing is lost: a restored profile finds its space exactly as it was left.
How do I permanently erase a profile?
From the child's card, "Erase". Their progress, favourites and booklets are lost, and the action cannot be undone. If you only want to free a place, archiving is enough.
Can I get my child's data back?
Yes, "Export their data" from their card. For any request about personal data, the data protection officer's contact is in our privacy policy.
What is the resume code for?
Opening the child's session on another device, with your number or email. It opens only the child's space, never yours. It is shown once and not kept in clear; after several wrong attempts it locks, and you generate a new one.
My child is moving up a class. What should I do?
Declare it from "Their new school year". A screen shows what the move changes before you confirm: their curriculum, their chapter-by-chapter mastery, and what is archived from the old path stays available.
A school is asking to link my child's profile.
If you accept, the school will see your child's first name and their progress. If you refuse, nothing changes, and the request will not come back for three months.
Can I read the questions my child asks a teacher?
You see your child's question threads and you can reply in them. You can also switch the feature off entirely from parental controls: once off, they can no longer open a new thread.
My child is in primary. Can they have their own account?
No. A primary pupil has no account in their own name: a parent or guardian signs them up, and the parent shares on their behalf. In primary there is no Yard on the child's side.
My child's subscription is funded by their school. Where is that written?
On the subscriptions screen, next to the status: paid by the learner, paid by a parent, funded by the school, funded by a sponsor, gifted, or through a promotion.
Where do I start?
With "Today". The product offers you three to five actions, each with its minutes — a quiz, cards to review, a past paper — and you tap "Start the 20 minutes". It is one thing to do, never a catalogue to sort through.
Do I have to read a lesson before a quiz?
No. Access is direct: there is nothing to read first. GO4LEARN is revision, not a course — the lesson happens in class, here you come to practise.
How does a quiz work?
Question by question, with the explained correction right after: not just "wrong", but why. Spelling tolerance is built in — we assess the skill, not the typing.
What are the cards that come back?
Spaced repetition. A notion comes back at the right time, and you answer "No", "Almost" or "Yes". Answering "no" costs nothing: it is exactly what brings the card back sooner.
How are past papers organised?
By exam and by session, with a collapsible worked answer and a "What comes up most" filter. If a paper is missing, you can submit it as a photo.
Are the mock exams realistic?
Real duration, real marking scheme, a real mark out of 20. The timer is held by the server: changing the phone's clock buys no extra time. There is no penalty and no ranking — it is a measurement, not a contest. Each new mock exam draws other questions while the bank has some, with the answers shuffled; when it has nothing new, the exam says so and does not count in your average.
How do I ask a teacher a question?
A photo of your exercise book is enough. A teacher from the country, in your subject, answers. They see neither your surname nor your school, and exchanging contact details is blocked on both sides.
Are my essays marked?
Yes, by a human, anonymously, on the exam's official grid: introduction, structure, argument, expression, spelling, conclusion. The weighting is the referential's, not an invented average.
What is a quest?
A short path that rebuilds the foundations after repeated failures on a chapter. It never names a lower class: the basics get repaired without humiliating anyone.
What is the diagnostic for?
To place your level subject by subject at the start, so the daily mission aims right. You can postpone it: it is not an entrance exam.
Is there a revision plan up to my exam?
Yes. Your deadline is shown in days, and the plan spreads the chapters until then, taking your mastery and your stream's coefficients into account.
How is my progress calculated?
By mastery subject by subject, weighted by your stream's coefficients in secondary. You find it on your progress page, next to the percentage of curriculum mastered.
What is the merit booklet?
The record of your merit points, line by line. A line is never corrected: that is what makes it impossible for anyone to give you points or take them away.
What is the annual review?
A recap of your year: what you worked on, what you mastered, your streaks and your distinctions. It stays available even when the subscription is paused.
How do I earn Sparks?
By working. Finishing a chapter earns 20, a seven-day streak 15, an Olympiad round 50. There is no way to get them with money, ever.
What is in the Shop?
Accessories for your avatar, and the streak freeze. When your balance is short, the screen shows what is missing instead of a button that does nothing. Your merit points, on the other hand, are never spent.
How does the streak freeze work?
It protects today: a day without working won't break your streak. It never recovers a streak already lost, and it doesn't extend one. Two freezes a month at most, and the counter resets the following month.
How does my streak work?
We count distinct days of work, never accumulated time. The streak is kept through the school holidays: a holiday window pauses the counter instead of breaking it.
What is the Savania avatar?
Your avatar, dressed by your Sparks. Five skin tones are offered, none by default, and none is tied to a rarity or a level.
What is the "Scholars of Africa" collection?
110 cards across six regions — Imhotep, Hypatia, Ibn Khaldun, King Njoya and many more. They are earned by working, and can be swapped between learners when social features are open.
How do duels work?
You challenge someone on a quiz. A lost duel still earns 5 Sparks, and when a challenge expires, nobody lost. With the same person, three duels a week earn Sparks; the next ones can still be played, without a reward. A duel never changes your merit points.
What is a team for?
Aiming together at a number of working days in the week. When the objective is reached, each member earns 20 points — the same number for everyone, whatever the team's size. The objective is about effort, never performance.
Is there a ranking inside my team?
No. The board shows who worked, in order of arrival and with no names at all. A board ordered by contribution would be a ranking, whatever you called it.
Does encouraging my team earn anything?
Nothing: no merit point, no Spark. It just does the whole team good.
If I leave my team, do I lose my points?
No. You keep everything you earned: your points and your Sparks stay yours.
What does inviting a friend earn?
Days of subscription and Sparks, for you and for them, once they have subscribed and worked a few days. Inviting earns no merit point: your points are earned by working.
Who sees my posts, and who reacted?
You see the number of views, never the list of people who watched. Reactions are limited to "Well done" and "Me too", and there are no comments. A parent can see your posts and switch sharing off.
Can I share on WhatsApp or TikTok?
Yes, as an image with a link to GO4LEARN — never to your profile.
What is "My method"?
The only written content a learner can publish: steps, difficulties and a tip, in a guided frame. Unlike other cards, it goes through editorial review before being published.
How do I keep chapters on my phone?
From "Downloads", in the app. The size is announced before each load, and nothing goes without you asking. What you downloaded stays readable with no network.
What is Revision Radio?
Revision to listen to, whenever you want — especially during the long holidays programme, when you don't feel like reading.
What happens during the long holidays?
The long holidays programme opens four doors: consolidate your weakest chapters, get ahead on next year's class, prepare for exams, or explore and pass the time with Revision Radio. It is all included in the subscription. You can light a long holidays flame: it is never lost, you can only earn it.
How do I give my parent access?
From your space, you generate a six-character link code, valid for a day. Your parent enters it in their space. You will never be asked for your password.
Does my parent see my marks?
No. They see your working time, your active days, the subjects you worked on and the state of your subscription. Never your marks, your answers or your mistakes — the detail of your results is yours, and you decide whether to show it.
My subscription has expired. What is left?
Everything you did: your progress, your merit points, your cards, your avatar, your booklet. It is new resources that close. Nothing is deleted.
A question looks wrong. What do I do?
Report it from the question's screen. The report goes to the editorial team, who review the content and correct or withdraw it.
What is a referral partner?
Someone who shares a promo code — often a teacher, with their class. The code lowers the subscription price for the family, and every subscription paid with it credits a commission to the referrer's wallet at once. The profile is free: you pay nothing for the status.
Who can become a referral partner?
Any adult. Adulthood is an explicit declaration made by the account holder: we never ask for an age or a date of birth, so there is nothing to declare on someone else's behalf.
Are there several tiers?
Four: teacher, standard, ambassador, partner. One single programme for all — the teacher is not a separate trade. The discount and the commission are fixed amounts in francs, set by GO4LEARN for each code (200 F each by default).
How do I get my code?
By submitting an application: declare that you are an adult, confirm the account's identity is yours, sign the charter, and enter your payout number. The code is issued for the school year as soon as you are approved. Signing up alone issues no code.
How long does the review of my application take?
No delay is promised to you: no rule sets one, and announcing a duration you can't keep costs more than saying nothing.
When is a commission earned?
As soon as the payment of the subscription taken with your code is confirmed: your code's commission is credited to your wallet at once.
Does a renewal earn as much as a first subscription?
It earns your code's renewal commission, set by GO4LEARN like the entry commission (200 F each by default). An amount changed later never alters a commission already credited.
How high can the discount and commission go?
Their sum never exceeds 30% of the realised price, across all channels and campaigns. It is a hard rule: the console refuses any setting that would break it, and a country may set itself a stricter one.
Will I see who subscribed with my code?
You see the first name of each child who used your code, the date, the price paid and your commission — never their surname, class or results. Paying gives no right to look at learning.
Is there a cap on paid activations?
Yes, an annual cap. Beyond it, your counter keeps showing the real number, but no new commission is credited until the next school year.
How am I paid?
By Mobile Money — MTN or Orange — on the number you registered: monthly and automatic from 5,000 F, or on demand from 1,000 F available. The transfer fees (out, withdrawal and operator adjustment) are deducted: you receive the net, shown before you ask. A GO4LEARN operator sends you the amount and you are told.
What if I don't reach the withdrawal threshold?
The balance carries over and stays visible: nothing is lost. The payouts screen tells you exactly how much is missing to reach the threshold.
Where do I see my commissions in detail?
In your statement, line by line, with the type — first subscription or renewal —, the rate, the amount, the status and the proof. It filters by status and by school year.
My account is frozen. What happens to my commissions?
Commissions owed before the freeze remain owed. No new commission is credited: your code is still displayed, but someone entering it today attributes nothing — their subscription is created normally, with no link to you.
What does the charter I must sign say?
Six safeguards: no academic advantage tied to a subscription, compulsory transparency when the code is entered, no named list ever, an opt-out from the commission, a dedicated reporting channel, and the signature itself. It is the same text as the creator's charter: one single source, never two versions.
Does the family know I receive a commission?
Yes, at the exact moment they enter your code: "Your teacher receives a commission on this subscription." That notice stays unfolded, never tucked into a tooltip or an accordion.
I teach in the public sector. Can I waive my commission?
Yes. The right is explicit, it does not have to be requested, and waiving affects nothing else — not your code, not your account, not your status.
How do I report abuse?
Any abuse of the channel — cold selling, pressure on a learner or a family — is reported through a dedicated channel, separate from ordinary support.
Is a learner without a subscription treated less well?
No, and it is the charter's first safeguard: referral must never influence the marking, the ranking or the academic treatment of a learner.
Who can become a creator?
Anyone who teaches, supervises or marks. Signing up is open, with no file to build and no school approval. The studio opens straight away to declare your subjects; creating quizzes and resources opens once the GO4LEARN team has approved your profile, at Junior grade.
What does Junior grade mean?
That everything you submit goes through a review before it reaches a learner. It is the rule for everyone, and it protects your name as much as ours.
How do I move up a grade?
Through a qualification application — your documents, your subjects, an assessment — which decides your grade and the subjects you publish in. It is a second step, and it is not open yet. A Junior does not move up on their own.
What formats can I submit?
A quiz, a summary sheet or a guided exercise, on a class and a chapter of the official curriculum. A past paper can also be submitted, with its session and its worked answer.
Why is submission closed to me?
Because your scope is empty. Declare at least one subject and its levels from "My subjects": that scope filters the chapters you may submit to and the questions you receive. A subject with no level ticked is not declared — that is how you step away from it during a leave.
How does a submission work?
In three steps: the details — the type, the subject and the link to a chapter of the official curriculum (or to the whole subject for a resource, or to a class for an open quiz) —, then the content and its answer key, then the summary with the check before sending. The draft is kept from the first step, with no deadline.
Can I see what the learner will see?
Yes, the learner preview is a panel opened from the editor, at the real size of a learner's phone and in their theme. A four-line question on your screen becomes seven lines on theirs.
What is the check before sending?
An automatic check that flags what is missing — an absent explanation, an unmarked correct answer, a content linked to no chapter of the official curriculum. It warns, it does not forbid: "Send anyway" exists, and your reviewer then sees the same warning you did.
How long before a piece is published?
No delay is promised, but your position in the review queue is shown, with the expected response date. A file past its deadline moves to the front. Nothing is published without human review.
What do the statuses of my content mean?
Draft: not yet sent. In queue: awaiting validation. Revision requested: the reviewer sends it back with their remarks. Validated, then Published: visible to learners. Archived or Rejected: out of the lists.
Can I schedule a publication?
Yes. A future publication date keeps the content invisible until then; an expiry date takes it out of the lists when the time comes, without sending it back to draft. Both are optional.
May I use AI to produce content?
Only if AI generation has been granted to you by name, with a number of pieces per month. The counter resets on the first day of each month. AI-produced content always goes through human review, whatever your grade, and is declared as such.
Can a resource cover several chapters?
Yes. At the first step, tick one chapter, several chapters of one subject — a revision sheet, a test over a period — or « The whole subject ». The learner finds the resource in each chapter you ticked.
What does the AI receive when it writes a quiz or a resource for me?
The official programme of the country and year: the class, the subject, the chosen chapter or chapters with their lessons and their text, the syllabus textbooks. Then the chosen type and its template, your instructions, the text read in your documents, the language, the difficulty and the level of detail. Never your name, your school, nor the learners and their results. The « See the exact text sent » button shows the text word for word. For a quiz, the chosen scale is shared out over the generated questions: 20 points over 5 questions, 4 points each.
What content can the AI write?
Quizzes, and the fourteen resource types: lesson, summary, sheet, exercises, test, end-of-term paper and mock exam — with their answer key, written apart —, activity, holiday activity, methodology, guide, advice, syllabus and a companion sheet for a video. For a video, the AI does not watch it: it writes what to take from it, from what you say about it.
How do I answer learners' questions?
From the "Questions" queue, in your subjects. You can read it as soon as the studio opens, but answering needs one more step: giving your real name and signing the charter — your answer reaches a learner before anyone reviews it.
What do I see of the learner asking me a question?
Neither their surname nor their school. A banner reminds you "You are answering a minor", and exchanging contact details is blocked on both sides. Learners see your display name, never the name on your papers.
A learner's question is inappropriate. What do I do?
Report it from the thread. The report goes to editorial moderation, who handle the case and may close the thread.
What do my statistics measure?
Where learners stop, block by block — not the number of views. It is the only measure that tells you what to rewrite. Today it covers the web only: sessions from the app are not yet counted, and the screen says so.
Is the creator's charter the same as the referral partner's?
Yes, word for word: one single source, never two versions. It carries six safeguards and is signed once, electronically and timestamped.
Are my declarations verified against a document?
No, not at this stage. They bind you: they carry your name and their date.
What is the GO4LEARN console?
The GO4LEARN team's internal tool. It is where the settings that govern the product are held — prices by country, exam referentials, scales, holiday windows, creators' rights — and where moderation and supervision are handled.
Who has access to the console?
Authorised members of the GO4LEARN team, by role and by named membership. Neither a parent, nor a learner, nor a referral partner, nor a creator reaches it — their spaces are separate, and an authorisation is never inherited from another product.
Who decides the price?
The console, by country. The price is copied into the subscription at purchase and frozen until renewal: a change of scale never applies retroactively.
Can a financial setting be changed by one person alone?
No. Financial scales — prices, referral rates, acquisition ceiling — take effect only after a second approval, by someone else. A version in force is never rewritten: a new one is published instead.
How is the acquisition cost ceiling enforced?
Discount plus commission never exceeds 30% of the realised price, tier by tier. The rule lives in the data model and down in the database, not only on screen: an import or an admin task opens no screen and does not get around it. A country may set itself stricter, never looser.
Where do exams, streams and sessions come from?
From the exam referential held in the console: sessions, subjects and streams are declared there, exam by exam. It is what makes classified past papers and mock exams at the real marking scheme possible.
How are essay marking grids set?
Per exam, in dated versions. The six criteria come from the specification and are not configurable; their weighting belongs to the referential's owner, and no weight is proposed by default. A version that has taken effect is frozen: essays already marked keep the version they were marked under. With no grid, the marker refuses to mark.
How are holidays taken into account?
Through windows declared country by country — calendars and results dates differ. During a window, a learner's streak pauses instead of breaking. A window that has started cannot be removed: streaks have already been spared because of it.
Who decides what a non-subscriber may try?
The console, space by space: the chapters offered are ticked, never drawn at random. The number of questions asked for is a ceiling — a chapter with only two published quizzes will return two.
How is AI generation opened to a creator?
By a named grant, signed and dated, with a number of pieces per month. It is withdrawn the same way. Until a creator has received a grant, any submission marked "AI-assisted" is refused.
What happens to reports?
They open an editorial moderation case: a piece of content, a learner's question or a post in The Yard. The case is closed with a traced decision, and the content may be corrected, hidden or withdrawn.
How is a creator approved or suspended?
From the console, which holds approval, suspension, the designation of a referent and the direct-publishing privilege. Each decision is named and dated.
Who guarantees the integrity of the Olympiads?
The console: integrity cases are handled there, and proclaiming results, granting and revoking distinctions are traced acts, never automatic. Awards are created at the proclamation. None is released until a person has verified the winner's identity and, for a major award, two people have each signed the validation interview; nothing is released while the winner is suspended or an integrity case on them is open.
Who handles schools' linking requests?
The console processes them, but it does not decide for the family: the request goes to the parent, who accepts or refuses. A refusal does not come back for three months.
What happens when a payment doesn't go through on the operator's side?
It goes into reconciliation in the console: the gap between what the aggregator says and what the product says is handled by hand. The product refuses to mark as paid what is not — which is why access is never opened "on the benefit of the doubt".
Are console actions traced?
Yes. Sensitive decisions — grants, approvals, scales, distinctions — carry who made them and when, and an audit screen makes them readable. That is what lets us explain, months later, why a given rate applied on a given day.
